@MattSpeller I finally managed to get my last holdout off of it... Sometime in 2010, lol... he had no choice... none of the websites he needed would work with his browser any more... Took me another year to get him off of Netscape Communicator.

Posting from Edge now. I think that the font rendering is weird. It is actually a little.... fuzzy.

Edge also had some trouble with antialiasing last time I tried it out, it made my avatar look like a janky jumble of pixels.

My Edge instance has crashed. Just froze itself into nothingness. Not a big deal, but this is the first that I have had it totally lose it and not just be slow or glitchy. Total crash.

Took about two minutes for the OS to be able to kill it too.

Yep, generally when I use Edge I get this as well. Although I'm running on some oldish hardware.

I have issues with Edge crashing periodically on me and it's slow.

Somewhat surprisingly, I found myself quite liking Edge - in fact, it's now my main browser. I've had no crashes or performance issues at all. Yup, it has some minor irritations, but then so do all the other browsers.

To me, Edge is the Duplo to Chrome and Firefox's Lego. Once you know what you're doing and want things in a particular way, you'll probably prefer the latter, but the former is great for people that would rather keep things simple without as many options for customization. At the very least they have similar compatibility, unlike IE which is definitely MegaBloks in this metaphor.

One thing that I am finding with Edge is that often when I am trying to type something into the address bar and hesitate before finishing it freaks out and the address bar disappears so that I have to grab the mouse, open it again and start typing over again. Their desire to have that weird, jumping around address bar is a major negative. It is confusing and it makes it slow.
