I had heard that they were doing this. Change.org is talking about moving to that at some point as well and had mentioned Kickstarter as an example company. NTG has talked about doing that for a while too since their mission is their staff.

Yes, it allows you to specific the environment, customers or employees or any combination of those, along with profits, as your primary goals as stated in your mission.
