Lumber Liquidators: Justice Department Seeking Criminal Charges Against Floor Manufacturer

The federal investigation follows a report by “60 Minutes” that claimed the company's laminate flooring products contain unsafe levels of formaldehyde.

That's a Virginia based company.. They have dirt cheap price for a reason I guess. I've never seen (or smelled) the product. They claim it's safe though.

Yeah, but they said that the problem components were because they were sourcing from China. We've used them and didn't notice, but you wouldn't necessarily.

Jefferson Davis: University of Texas Students Seek to Remove Statue of President of the Confederacy

The statue on the Austin campus was defaced with "Davis must fall" and "Emancipate UT." "We thought, there are those old ties to slavery and some would find it offensive," senior Jamie Nalley said.

A rare non-crazy news item from Texas.

Just a bit. Nothing like celebrating a war you lost 150 years later.
