Never even saw the original. I'd be open to watching it now, it is on Netflix I believe, but I no longer have television as a viable part of my life so.... probably not.

Not just no tv, but no Netflix.

I never got into them when they were new. I like a lot of shows like this and a lot of the shows that people who like this tend to also like, so likely I would like them.

When X-Files was first announced, I boycotted the show because of what Fox did to ALIEN NATION...ALIEN NATION was a very underrated show and when they cancelled it after one season, I said there was no way I'd get duped into watching X-Files and then it get cancelled...so, when X-Files did well AND Fox made 5 more ALIEN NATION TV movies, I was hooked...: 🙂

My favourite episodes are when they take the piss and break the 4th wall - ugh so good.

The vampire pizza delivery boy one ranks up amongst my top 5

Yes..."Bad Blood" was my favorite...and my favorite line from that episode was from Skinner...

Walter Skinner: Ronnie Strickland's body has gone missing from the morgue, in conjunction with this the coroner's been attacked. His throat was bitten.
          Scully: The coroner's dead?
Walter Skinner: [uncomfortably] No... his throat was... bitten. Just sort of... gnawed on.

Living in Spain we have only like a 13" CRT with satellite getting who knows what Spanish television. No Netflix, Hulu or Amazon VOD. There is like nothing to watch here and nothing to watch it on.

I can watch something if my desire is to see moving pictures on a tiny, flickering screen. But if I want to actually see something that I'd want to watch, I'm out of luck.

Vudu still exists? I figured requiring someone to download their own client like its 1998 destroyed that company like 5 years ago.

What are you going on about?

Vudu doesn't require downloading anything. My Bluray player has it built in and I'm pretty sure Roku does as well (probably all the major devices).

They also have a feature where you can download the movies for offline viewing.

Oh, that's my fault, I was thinking of Veoh, though I think now even they have some sort of flash based option and/or a remote control device. I do remember for a while it was this weird pseudo-RealPlayer joke of a technology I couldn't imagine why anyone would want it.
