      This can't be good. http://www.theverge.com/2014/12/26/7450621/kodak-bullitt-smartphone-ces-2015

I want to know how any company that only sells branding and not products gets to be a "most recognized" brand associated with quality and innovation? Yes, Kodak used to be those things but has not been for many years. Now it is like GE slapping its name on the lowest cost TVs, radios, microwaves, etc. Who associates the Kodak name with quality today?

They were, they are out of bankruptcy as of last September. They do very little, though, the just sell their name to other companies now. So if you see the name Kodak on anything, run away. They have become a brand that other companies buy when their own brand is no good. So if the name Kodak is on something now, it is guaranteed to be bad.

The name is used to pry upon unknowing, uncaring people - it will probably take 3-5 more years of Kodaks' name being on junk before the general public understand that it's name is meaningless, kinda like Emerson.

And GE. Emerson's name was crap going back to the early 1980s at least. Probably before. Did they ever make a good product?
