Major FPS release BioShock Infinite appears to be headed to Linux. One of the more high profile releases to get Linux attention.

Sweet! I don't think that I could run that on my Windows gaming rig but it's still a win for the Linux gaming community.

In semi related news, I now have Worms Reloaded on my EEEPC (Ubuntu 14.04). Thanks to Steam 🙂 I was going to try CS:S but I thought that might be pushing it a tad too far.

I'm still surprised that my eeepc has the grunt to power it. There were times I though it was going to fall over because of a few graphical anomalies that appeared and then disappeared but it was good for the hour or so I played.

I did think to my self "but can it play Crysis?"

It is amazing how little is needed to play older games. My desktop is seven years old but with the upgraded RAM and the three year old GPU it can play most any game from the 2000 decade and a few more recent.
