On a serious note, uncouple the reputation thing because up and down voting posts is beneficial.

It is but we don't control the code, sadly. That would be great. It is nice to have a "post reputation", but a person metric is bad.

Because he had to harp about it so much someone obviously took pains to annoy him about it as much as he was annoying the rest of us.
Go edit the css or something for the profile page to not show the reputation.

It's too bad. I thought reputation was a really nice idea compared to an actual ranking. Rankings reward numbers of posts, where reputation rewards quality of posts.
Has anyone ever been banned from Mangolassi (other than bots)?

Haven't needed to yet. I know that time will come as we grow, but for now bots are the only ones.
