Backbeat Pro Headphones On Their Way

I have a set of these (http://www.plantronics.com/us/product/backbeat-pro) on their way to me as we speak! Really excited to get them and put them through some field tests. I got to try them at Spiceworld at the Plantronics booth and was blown away! SUPER stoked to get a chance to own a set!

You see audio pro's talk highly about them. They are almost a well kept secret. There is an $80 pair, not all of them are $1.6K

Bose just cut a deal with the NFL that prevents NFL players from doing interviews or being seen on camera anymore with Beats headphones.

Beats are not nearly all that. Bose are actually pretty good, but are a lot like Cisco...way over-hyped and you're paying mostly for the name.

@ajstringham In the Audiophile world, Bose are considered the worst of the worst. Their fundamental design is to sound "cool" not to sound "accurate." They aren't a hi-fidelity maker, they are a low-fidelity maker. I've seen many a shop literally call them the worst audio product on the market at any price and I've seen comparisons of their high end stuff and $30 plastic Walmart gear and the cheap stuff blew the Bose away.
It's pure marketing.
