Once off or short term remote access solution

 Wireguard with RDP, but that might be too high tech, and requires forwarding port.

I'm surprised the VAR doesn't use something like Zoho Assist. There's a free version that works well for one-off sessions. I used it this evening.

 Yeah supprised if they are supporting the software they haven't got something like teamviewer

However, I don't believe it is designed around one time access.

However, I don't believe it is designed around one time access. It does have a run-only agent. Client starts agent, users connects, users disconnect and agent stops. Sorta a one time deal I suppose.

It's the best kept secret in IT.

 Ended up using Google remote desktop. Because the client set it up without asking for input.

 @jaredbusch Do you have to install the remote plugin and login with your gmail account to access the machine though?
