I'm not sure if this is worthy of another thread, but I'm curious about what led to the decision behind running Ubuntu 20.10 on Vultr rather than on Linode.

Scores of servers already there. And better performance. It was our only old workload on Linode.

@EddieJennings There are threads from a few yers ago about them leaving Linode for pretty much everything.

The "Ask as question" thing works on initial post now! No more changing the topic afterwards.
Just check the box and hit submit like normal.

Okay, between upgrading the database to 4.0 or removing the emoji plugins completely, we were able to complete the update and are on NodeBB 1.14 now.
I only use these emoji plugin on my forum. but they work perfectly on 1.16.x

Should be fixed now, it's DNS was wrong.
