I'm looking for a way to type Spanish tildes / accents, etc. in Ubuntu DDE. In Ubuntu Gnome there is a Gnome Tweak tool, but I am not finding anything like for DDE.

The real question is about Gnome 3 vs DDE (Deepin Desktop Environment). Gnome 3 has a "compose" key that makes this simple.

Change your keyboard settings to the English US international. You'll get some additional AltGr+key combinations for Spanish and other languages.

Or you can just go old-school and use alt+numeric pad combinations.

I haven't tried these in Ubuntu DDE so I don't know if they actually work. They work in Windows though.

I do old school and change my keyboard layout to LATAM type and it works fine.
