Of importance only to Mac users is a new feature called Continuity as well.

I'm bad at predicting which features will matter to me. I have the iPhone 5s and thought that the touch ID was stupid until I got one and now it is my favourite new feature of that platform.

Continuity only works with newer devices that have Bluetooth low power or whatever that is called. I believe the iPad 4 may have it, the iPad Air does. The iPhone 5 I am not sure, but the 5s does. None of the iPhone 4 models have it. MacBook's did not have it until ~2 years ago.

@scottalanmiller same here - I hated having to put my passcode in every time.

The new "I know you are at home" thing will likely be nice.

I am planning on getting a new Mac after their next round of updates.
