Just received an email that OBi has released a SIP phone. $199 for a 12 line phone. Who needs a 12 line phone?

Need? probably no one.. but my boss misses the day when she could watch the status of all 12 of our POTS lines before we switched to a T1.

        Don't ask me why.

I just looked at it.. not bad looking phone, kinda cool you can add wireless to it for about $20.

I thought three lines were overkill 🙂

Those are not SIP lines. You can have a phone with 12 "Lines" and only one SIP account.

I find three perfect in order to have extra lines for testing stuff. But yeah generally 1 is enough for almost all business use.
