Chat is kinda screwed. in order to see messages that I send, and the same to see chats from other people. I too dislike the preview window, and the super ultra nested/deleteallthedata quoting is funny.

Agreed, I dislike the preview window - though I guess the point is that people can see pictures that they are including in their post, assuming that part works

ug.. maybe the picture upload is broke now too? it stopped at 76%, I did leave the window alone for 60 seconds before pressing submit.
and I received a brief overlay error but didn't catch what it said in time.

OK picture worked the second time I tried.. and it does show up in the preview window.

I'm not sure if this was mentioned earlier - but the notifications aren't clearing themselves as you visit the posts like they did before. They now only seem to clear when you actually click on them.
My ADD is buggin' since I can't get rid of the red number over the little bell.

When I post a new topic it posts three, two blank and one with the message.

Overall it seemed like a good day today. And a lot of people were busy posting too, it was not a slow day.

Doesn't look like the updates that were done ( if they were done) fixed the chat. just FYI, for what we pay for this place, it can have a few quirks

Seriously AIM? Dude ICQ is so much better than AIM.
Anyone even use one of those services anymore? I know I had accounts at all of them, but no longer use any of them.

I got your joke, but apparently my irony was too hard to detect.. I really want hashtagging or something similar to make similar comments more readily recognizable.

Wow.. you busted out AIM - and ICQ holy hell!
yeah I had accounts in most of those places too - now I use FB chat/Gchat and here. And while I can use Pidgin or Trillian to link them all to a single client I do wish for a unified single chat client that offers, nah, requires OTR.
