            @Mike-Ralston generally the same answers. The latest. Old is rarely better in software.

              I've had compatability issues with tons of things, especially games, with 8 and 8.1

                There is no one best answer because it completely depends on what you're trying to accomplish.

                  Sure. But over time that will decline whereas with an old OS over time that will increase.
