Am I missing a way to set up so that if someone emails [email protected] it will come into Sodium Suite?

Email is not yet a feature. It's coming, for sure, but there is no email ingestion yet. That's a super complicated feature.

I don't think that is setup yet. Right now is manually entering tickets as far as I know.

Just an IMAP connection to specific mailbox and nuke the item after the ticket is created. that is what most systems do.

I cannot imagine that there are no good IMAP references out there.

That doesn't deal with parsing, which is the hard part. GETTING an email is trivial. Doing something useful with it without accidentally making gibberish from emails, is not.

Meh, just put the subject as the ticket title, and sender as the creator. Done. more parsing not required. Would more parsing be cool? Sure, but that is an advanced feature.

Hell, I don't even use it on my actual helpdesk. All I do is assign based on rules inside MESD. Those rules are simply based on the domain of the sender. So no email parsing at all beyond the sender domain.

@scottalanmiller So the better question is WTF are you thinking is needing parsed?
