      we had a complete outage last night. a trucker decided to drive through our campus around midnight,I guess he was lost, and knocked down a telephone poll which took out transformers and our fiber. So we had no power or connectivity until very recently

      If the media finds out, he'll be branded a terrorist...

        Spectrum AND Comcast today. Maybe it is someone higher up that they both share.

          Western Pa -- Comcast, Armstrong, Spectrum, Windstream aren't getting along. At least here.
          UPDATE: Dit, dit, dit, dit, dit....
          It appears to have cleared

                  I still had to restart my firewalls & a few devices local to each remote site that depend on our HQ for services.
                  Restarts worked.

                            Global Crossing disappeared some time ago. They are CenturyLink now.
