You know what they say about assuming tho. Using an ASIC can be a huge performance boost as well.

 Microsoft Hotfix KB4093112 causes issues with Pen devices, including Wacom devices. To correct the issue determine if the hotfix was installed get-hotfix -computername <name>If it is, apply the patch described to address pens, scrolling and moving the window rather than "drawing".
