I fixed the issues I was having with Bitwarden. I used it over the weekend. It's ok, but I do miss the one click autofill feature of dashlane.
However, I think other than that Bitwarden might meet my needs for FREE!

One click autofill? For passwords? Bitwarden has a similar feature but it does require you to click on the extension and click on the link. Two clicks.

I also enjoy having my info sync'd on multiple devices. I have never seen an overlap. Dashlane has been good enough that I have never gone out looking for something else because it felt inadequate either. I havent used a few of the others you all are talking about though. Do they have something different than Dashlane I should be looking at?

Aside from the price? Not really they are all basically the same. BitWarden has a mobile app that will autofill passwords in apps and browsers which is very nice... all for free. It's also open source which is an added benefit.

Or right click in the username/password field, highlight Bitwarden, click desired user/pass option.

Dashlane is pretty good about this, but I have had to manually sync if I want to access a new password on a mobile device or desktop device instantly. They must auto sync every 5 mins or so, which is fast enough 95% of the time.

I just use the password manager in Chromium. That syncs across all my devices running Chromium.
So simple.

What are you guys using for the auto lockout settings? On PC, I am locking on lock. On mobile I have 5 mins set. The only problem with 5 mins is that it seems to disable the autofill after lockout?

I'm considering the same approach for my parents. They're in the Apple ecosystem, so I might as well just use Apple's password management stuff.

All of my LastPass instances are set to require login after browser closed for 5 minutes or 4 hours inactive on my desktop and laptop.
My iOS devices have the password saved but are set to require TouchID.

I trialed Dashlane, but there is nothing about it that made me want to switch. Also, the costs were significantly higher then. I believe is was the difference from $1/month to $4/month. Then their sales guy was emailing me 6+ times per day when I did not subscribe after the trial. Just fuck that shit.

Right, the current costs are now in close enough proximity that if one was better than the other I would use it for that reason and not care about the cost difference.
But they are not better than each other IMO.

I will try out BitWarden, self hosted, but that problem I saw when reading about it is the 5 user limit. If I am going to switch to something like this, I will have to force the entire company to switch for at least the shared work stuff.
