Yes, really. I know 2 systems that do this in the APs right off the top of my head without thinking hard.

Meraki and who? Though I question weither or not Meraki does it in the AP, or it's just sending data to the central hub, and that's what's really knowing what's going on?

The controller does have a much better way to look at it all than the GUI in the EdgeMAX series.
Still not sold on the USG though.
