Pclinux OS Issue

I have tried to install trueos as per Scott suggestion but the ISO has issue in it
So tried installing PC Linux OS but I got grub error because when I installed the OS one screen is present which does not goes off.

Unmounting filesystem
Init:no more processes left in this runlevel

Verified this link but no use

PCLinux OS still exists?

And why didn't you just download TrueOS again? You are continuing to flail rather than being methodical.

@scottalanmiller now my internet got slow for this month I have the PC Linux OS in DVD format now.upto now no os present in laptop and it's down in order to use my laptop one Linux OS needed so I prefer for PC Linux OS now.thats it

Looks like their website still exists and they are posting updates. Have no heard of that OS in many years. Have never seen it run.

I have freebsd os also when I tried with bootable in Rufus it through an error that ISO is not bootable.so only tried with PC Linux now

If you need a light weight (low system resources required) I'd go with lubuntu.

You are trying to dual boot the system? Why is there NTFS?

@scottalanmiller no my data are in NTFS where already windows 8.1 was there.but now deleting some partition for fedoro

Copy that off to something else and copy back when you are done. Don't leave an NTFS partition hanging around as data storage. That's not a good idea.
