Just heard of this today and am looking into it. It looks interesting. It's PHP based and uses MySQL / MariaDB on the back end. It can easily be installed on hosted web environments, too. Softaculous has an installer for it. And a Docker installer is available, too.

Not a bad looking product. And if Scriptaculous does a one click install for it, even better.

They have an iPhone app, too. Plus Android coming soon.

You have to pay, in app purchase, to unlock the app to connect to a self hosted install.

              Really a good scheme IMO.

Ugh, that's poop. Did you get to see how much it is?

Why is that poop? Development is not free. If you use their hosted solution the app is free because you pay them.

                  Sound plan IMO.

And no, I did not check the App Store. They listed that detail on the product page when I read it.

I understand why they do it. I just dislike in app purchase mechanisms and do not trust them. Have had that fail before causing problems. I'd prefer if they made two different apps, one for their hosted system and one that you pay for for the non-hosted one. That way I get the protection and clarity of the app store mechanism.

Rewriting the backend for our biggest site, switched most to node.js. Already have a performance increase.
