                Put Linux Mint 18 on a DVD and load that way.

                  +HDD should expand when you select it, to show you the USB to boot from.

                  If not, in BIOS there should be an option to move the USB drive higher up into the device selection screen.

                    Thanks! It worked, off the top of your head does Linux Mint have drivers built in? I cant remember

                              Yeah Mint is generally the GoTo OS for most people.

                              Nothing special to do to get the hardware to work. It just does.

                                  Definitely in theory, if Mint installs it will all just work and work really well.
