Microsoft Activations

Anyone ever had microsoft void all your keys, give new ones and force all your products to deactivate so you can re-activate with more current numbers? it's the dumbest thing ever. we found out this morning, and shortly after all MS products crying that they are not genuine.
We just got through with an Audit we passed 4 months ago so it doesn't make any sense to me.

Maybe your keys were on a known leaked key list.

I've had a few Laptops (Lenovo) pop up saying they are no longer genuine, my guess was a key has been leaked and block by M$

These are all Volume licensed

Still the leaked key can be from a VL. There are shady companies that will by VL and sell the key off to fit in their VL amount.

Yes, but pretty much the only way ours could get out is if SHI reps went rouge... oh wait one did get fired a few weeks ago. haha

We've lost customers because of this before, they were only willing to work with MSPs that would acquire leaked VL keys for them. If you refuse,they hire someone else. It's pretty common.

LOL, yeah I got fired from a client once for this. I was tired of them making a killing and not paying their fair share or switching to something else. I was happy to see them go.

It's a pretty common thing, sadly.
