We have a higher density per node than most. One node is the minimum, 2 provides full HA for both the compute and storage.

That's very interesting in the SMB space, that's often a missing feature set.

What provides the deeper per-node density?

We can hit 44 physical cores, 1.4tb ram, and 20 tb useable before the dedupe and compression.

Because we can avoid redundant writes we can provide better performance than traditional storage.

Additionally our data virtualization platform is unique and gives us some capabilities that others struggle to provide.

I would love to coordinate a redo webex, no sales just technical with anyone who's interested.

Apologies for the way this webt, but I am passionate about the technology, and I understand the customer side better than most as I was one just a year and a half ago.
I ran SimpliVity as a client before working for them and I would be happy to share perspectives.

@scottalanmiller I will forward your feedback to our Marketing team. This is valuable to us, as we are clearly not messaging our platform correctly.

              In a single node? Wow.

What is the total core count per single host?

@DustinB3403 That is in a single host. Dual 22 core v4 Intel.

And then there is some custom hardware as well involved, right? Some of the clustering work is offloaded to that?

Ah ok... I was under the impression of 44 CPU's with however many cores per CPU.

                        Not 22 CPU's and 44 cores.

                            Thank you, so 2x22 (core).

I was about to ask for more clarification.

@scottalanmiller Yes Purpose build accelerator card. This handles the Deduplication, Compression and Serialization of all data at inception across all tiers for the life of the data. I would love to deep dive as I have a very good presentation (I think) that I can share with you.

@Minion-Queen should be able to get you all of the details, the website is here. It's a tech conference being held in Rochester NY next month.

That would just happen to be four weeks from tonight for the opening keynote to begin.

There is a "group" within this site to talk about the conference. From finding hotel details, travel info, what to do around town, topics, etc.
