After today, 6 more days at current gig. Time feels like it’s flying.

holiday today for a sports match that isn't playing here this weekend.
good for those who get paid, not so good for us self employed types.

I schedule backup verifcation on days like that. Restore a back to an offline network etc.

20.10 is the first version of Ubuntu Desktop to support Raspberry Pi.
RPI4 only and just the 4 & 8 GB versions.

I'm downloading it as I'm typing this.

Let's see if how smooth the desktop experience is...

Yeah, also excited about that! Was talking about it with clients literally this morning.

I hope they didn't forget to renew a certificate or something. I'm finally back in shallow water with the IdP and MFA stuff at my day job. That was a month-long nightmare of interacting with vendors.

Working on getting an iLO 4 firmware upgrade scheduled, seems like I need to create an internal website to just host the ISO so I can mount it and boot from it.

                          ...

Well from what iLO4 is showing the only way to mount an ISO to the virtual drive is with a "scripted media url" which I find insane that HPE wants me to create a website to host a 9+GB ISO file to update the firmware on a host.

There has to be a better way.

Found it, the scripted media url appears to be an optional method. Just using the remote console gives me the option to browse to a local ISO and mount that.
