Trying to resolve a datto backup issue on a windows server, of course the host OS has other issues from who knows when, but those appear to be resolved. . . .

Like, what the hell is happening that these things keep breaking (or who keeps breaking things) and fix them as a top priority....
Truly it's more of stuff coming up that takes me away from projects all of which is considered top priority (despite the impossibility of having more than one top priority). Just needed to vent a sentence or so about it earlier this afternoon.

If you want to wind up in Random Places near you, check out the Randonautica
It randomly generates some GPS Coordinates near you, and you can go check it out. We've found a couple of good trail heads around us that we didn't know were nearby. You can definitely wind up on people's property, so make sure you obey laws in y our area and use (un)Common Sense when exploring.

yep.. Customer handed phone to a server, who then told me he has a degree in Computers (wouldn't tell me what degree) and that he did some stuff to their Back office PC and now the systems down.. but he couldn't tell me what he did... Finally got it fixed after Setting the Static IP back, and Uninstalling the antivirus he installed "because it's top teir." (no it wasn't, it was Norton)... Happy Friday. if I was still Drinking, i've had a few beers after today .
