helping my brother navigate the unemployment website. His major chain restaurant announced very abruptly yesterday they were fully closing (no takeout/delivery) and he's been "furloughed" until further notice. No vacation time, no severance, last paycheck is in the mail yada yada yada.

Dentist just called and tried to postpone my cracked tooth extraction... hell no, this isn't an elective procedure. So I get to go in Thursday instead of Friday.

Belgium is closing their borders? I kow much of the EU was, but still on a country by country basis last time I saw news.

Belgium is closing their borders? I kow much of the EU was, but still on a country by country basis last time I saw news.
The Schengen closes. Originally it was going to close today at noon (proposed, never official); but thankfully it got delayed and they are closing tomorrow at noon now, instead. So she made it by a few hours.
Belgium is keeping their internal borders open (France has closed theirs, though), so you can move to Germany and The Netherlands from Belgium, but that's it. Basically German and the Low Lands have become an isolated island. But overall, the Schengen border is closed, so no getting in from anywhere else.

Boss just gave me a sales job - Our Vendor is giving away 3 months of Online ordering , Take out and Delivery for free with a contract signed for 1 year minimum at 50 / month to get them through this pandemic crisis. and all restaurants shutting down their dining rooms.

Inside Sales, Calling existing customers, offering the service to enhance customer care and comfort by Online Order for free for 3 months. Cause a lot of these places dont have that, and that's why they're getting beat out by people who do.
Eveyrone in the industry is doing it sadly. Door Dash, grub Hub? doing it.,
