@scottalanmiller Please be vigilant, it is no fun at all what it can do to you. Your immune system begins to think that heart valve tissue, joint tissue and parts of the brain (Basal Ganglia) are the enemy.
I know when I have it now and actually bother to take antibiotics. Didn't know that it could turn into scarlet fever and just tried to ride it out. Now I know to hop a plane to a reasonable country, buy some amoxicillin, and be done with it.
