Whatever I feel like and what rounds off the dollar figure. Do you tip consistently for delivery no matter the total?

I usually tip 15%, unless I am drinking. Then it is probably more.

Is that fair for 6 beers between 2 people?

20% but I live in the middle of nowhere and feel bad for her when she has to drive out here

This should be interesting... Power back on yet, or did you get a visit by the fire department... details man... details!The fire department was definitely here. A Marshall, and a few police cars.
I shut everything down before the UPS ran out. The power people (PSEG) came after about an hour. They took out that segment and somehow got the power back on, but they warned us they'll be back to rewire the part that is now missing.
I'll admit I am not well versed in power distribution at that level.
At one place I worked, several buildings on the same block were owned by the same people and it had a private high voltage transformer (not sure if Auto Bot or Deceptacon
) to distribute power to all the buildings. We didn't know this when we relocated there (24x7 data requirements). One day the transformer went "pop!" and well... mains power was out for a week. It took a while to figure out what it was, being that the transformer was a fair way up the street.Long story short, the building owners did get a generator the size of a 20' sea container (can't remember the KVA rating) as a work around for everyone, so we were only without power for two days.
