I'm looking at a dead Kingston SSDNow 300, good thing they have a 5 year warranty, bad thing the employee didn't have a backup.

Worse thing, employee was saving important things on their desktop computer, not the server.

Oh, the work employee threw me - thought this was an office worker device, not a personal home device.

Tell me about it - My boss is doing it RIGHT NOW! no matter how many times I tell her that if her system dies, the data is losts, she still has at least a few things that live on her desktop.

I'm waiting for the scp of the backup vm to finish up, so I can latter import it to the XenServer. waiting.... waiting... waiting... 700GB over a Gb network link.

lol. I'm tinkering with my XenServer right now, trying to figure out how to work this thing with XO, I gotta say, it's nice and snappy.

Invest $10 in CrashPlan. That's what I do for all my bosses. (And me.)

On a job posting. I guess it's a good way to weed out people who don't know you're talking about Red Hat, or they just don't know what they're talking about.
