Although I don't believe you are completely out of the woods just because you have a business Agreement (BA) with a provider you use that is housing Personal Health Information (PHI) - in fact I'm pretty sure that I'm suppose to request a result of their own audit to ensure they are doing what they are suppose to be doing.. only after collecting that yearly (though how I'm suppose to know it's valid is beyond me) would I be close to be indemnified.

That's possible, back when I was doing HIPAA all the time that was not the case but it does get updated regularly.

Knowing that it is valid is likely none of your concern. You can't know that audits are valid more or less by definition. You'd need the auditor to be audited and that auditor audited and so on and so forth.

Does Office 365 have Sway? I just have a live.com account and I noticed it a while ago. Does anyone use it?

It was just recently added for the release of windows 10. It's not really a office 365 app though, just allows SSO with it.

I didn't even turn it on. From the description it sounds like a really bad idea. It's like autofiltering that takes more work than real filtering, isn't as reliable, is less predictable and then alerts you anyway completely defeating its own purpose.

@Danp Wow! I know with partners it is pretty easy to migrate from one to another, or to add one if you haven't had one before.

That's because you are only changing paperwork, not changing whose system the account is under.

It does a ton. It's been the leader of Microsoft's extensive platform for over a decade. It's their application and integration platform.

I like the name, at least.

"Hi! Did you get my e-mail?"
      "Er...no"
"Really? I sent it last week!"
"Oh, ok. It's probably in my clutter folder"
"When do you read your clutter folder?"
      "Christmas"

The Whole MDM concept isn't new to exchange (though it may be to office 365). ActiveSync for exchange has had most of these features. I think they are just promoting it hoping you will want more managment.

Without reading everyone's posts, my guess is it sees the local Exchange server and tries to pull from that. You need to have the client migrate EVERYTHING to Office365 and get off that local server. I don't even want to try and figure out how you have all the MX records, etc setup.

Thanks @amytabor - That seemed to have worked. Now I have a long list of commands,.. of which to de-cypher.
There are some reports I wish to setup, and have available for later use.

And how to save that information to Excel or other forms....

      @GregoryHall
I have Office 2010 and it didn't 'connect' on mine either. the user will have either 2010 or 2007.

I did remember something about open,. so I was able to File, Open, and go that route... Just seems odd that it was there, and then it dropped.

Well the name.nk2 file itself might be retired, but the autocomplete listings are still there and are not fixed when someone changes addresses.

I had this problem last year in Outlook 2013

They only way to fix that would be to clear the auto complete list. That's solely based on the most common emailed addresses. It's per user and doesn't store on exchange in anyway (and isn't sync with OWA, OWA uses it's own list)

Creating a new document made a difference. I've known that I needed / WANTED to recreate many of the forms and such we have for HR and the departments. A vacation request was created in WORD and dumped to PDF, which forces a person to use a pen to complete it.

A form would be better... Especailly now with the options of OneDrive and Sharepoint....

I prefer a 12 month or non-expiring password but at least 16 characters long. Complexity can go fly a kite. Those only cause users to write things down.

Finally! For a long time I thought I was the only person who enforced this policy. Even as a part of GPO on our domains I set it as minimum of 12 (due to the entropy at the time), but basically turned down the complexity. Even some of the more non-technical users have extremely complex passwords now that they don't need to write down, because I encourage four random words with maybe a number or two between them.

And hey, if you wanna get inventive with the spelling, go ahead, if it's easier for you to remember, helps against broad dictionary attack as well. More experienced people will try cracking passwords with multiple words and even numbers, especially these days, but obviously even some crap like (3fOe38!45b is not only easy to crack, but also hard to remember, and I'm still baffled as to why this is encouraged. I'm sure you're aware of this, but I'm just saying it for people who may not realise that complex to remember does not mean complex to guess.
