LOL. They have a place, like in shared services where that is the only thing exposed. It can make sense. But for running stuff on your own, I find that they get in the way and make things hard and slow. And it is an extra thing to patch and secure. Running a LAMP server is so easy without a panel. Easier than a service with a panel, I swear.

That's a great idea. Cheap enough that I can imagine lots and lots of people deciding to invest in one of those.

If it is one line, like that one there, I just hit the space bar four times. When it is a large code block, I copy into Notepad++, Ctrl-A, Tab, and copy into here.

Fedora repos are neither the RHEL repos, not the EPEL repos nor SOGO's repos. Until it is all the way to in the OS or supported by the makers, it's not supported yet. Tons of things are RPM'd by third parties for things. But none that I would use in production.

As long as the RPM standard is being maintained, that would be hell to replace.

Had to reimage both my Linux servers, so I'm going to try CentOS 7 for my new Plex instance.

Never really used it but hear a lot of people really like it.
