I recommend the orginal KOTOR for the best experience of this style. DA is great too. Its more refined than KOTOR, but the story line and different places you visit in KOTOR can't be beat.

I love KOTOR too. But I like DAO better.

The first time I played through KOTOR, I used laser rifles and pistols with my main character. It amounted to all sorts of useless upgrades when I finally became a jedi. That is the fun part about RPGs though. Building your characters wrong the first time, makes it fun in the long run.

Never use blasters! Blades to lightsabers all the way!

I know that now, but I didn't know that the first time I played. Blasters really suck in that game. Carth is the only person that can actually use blasters.

Never bring a gun to a knife fight! If you can use swords in a game, in whatever form they are, always do it! Besides, it's a Star Wars game. How can you not just know that you'll be a Jedi (or the most evil Sith ever apparently)? Lol

I have played a few Star Wars games where you never become a Jedi.

It wasn't on sale, but I bought Rollercoaster Tycoon 2 Triple Pack. It is fun so far. Played last night and then again on lunch today.

They seem to have good sales nearly every week.

@ajstringham my too. I sometimes refer to gaming as "interactive fiction" because I see it as storytelling. I don't care about the action.

I've done some stuff with Hola and a shared wireless network on my laptop that works fairly well for that sort of thing... but I have to set it up as it is too much work for my fiance. So ease of use goes out the window.

Goat Simulator 2: This really Gets My Goat

I beat 2048 in a day - but I'm a veteran Threes player, and that is a much harder game.

Cool, I thought that it looked pretty interesting. Might have to check it out myself.

I picked up the two main games I wanted, which were Transistor and Broforce.

Seriously, you can't go wrong with these. These were a giveaway last year at Spiceworld Austin. @Nic has a set too, so he can attest, I'm sure, to their quality as well. They seriously do rock! They had a 3v3 LoL tournament of Spiceheads v. Spiceworks. Spiceheads got destroyed...didn't help that Sean was a very high level and Sarah was actually RANKED! @Nic nor I had ever played, although I'd seen people play a little bit once or twice.
