Vitelity is very inexpensive. We use them as our outbound trunk right now and haven't had any issues.

VoicePulse is very inexpensive but they are also not the most reliable at times. But for the price for testing it might be perfect.

I am trying to setup a 3CX phone system, and I am a VoIP Noob.

All I need is a sip truck, and that allows incoming and outgoing calls, right?

VoIP.ms is way better than VoicePulse.

              No concurrent call limit.
              $0.99/month for a DID
$0.01/minute (billed in 6 second increments) inbound and outbound calling
Many regional servers around North America.

We have used Broadvox in the past. I would rate them a solid Meh....

                  More or less.
Specifically, you need a SIP trunk to make outbound calls.

voip.ms and VoicePulse are by far the best to deal with that I've dealt with. VoicePulse we've been using for more than a decade and they've been great. voip.ms is much more recent and they seem to generally have a far better model for nearly all users.

I use VoicePulse at one client in addition to VoIP.ms.

For our own PBX we used to use VoicePulse, but I switched it to VoIP.ms a few months ago just because our calling patterns make that more cost effective.

They are certainly not new. I have been using them for years.

I meant to us, not in the general sense. Sorry.

To expand on this. At home I have a SIP trunk from VoIP.ms with no DID. I have this connected to an OBi100 that is connected to a regular cordless phone. This phone is used by my wife to call Japan. I have no need for inbound calling on this trunk, so I do not pay for a DID.
