        Is it just me or is google becoming one of those companies that just too big to trust. They are in to way too much.

          Apparently the CEO or someone at that level in Google said that their goal was for Google to become "the brain of god".

              They have such far reaching data collection. And collecting and selling data is their core business. So that makes them especially scary.

                That article is 11 years old which is ancient in the tech world. Google was a totally different animal back then. The article has no awareness of e-readers.

                  Wow, 2004. That's crazy. That's SO old. Windows 2003 was new. Office 2003 was new. XP was newish.

                    Oh, didn't notice that. A customer at Staples mentioned this quote to me yesterday, which was the first time I'd heard it.
