With the Apple Watch on its way, IT departments need to think about what this means for device management. Apple has provided MDM capabilities for locking down the Apple Watch including some security abilities that include using heart beat information as a biometric security measure!

Can't wait to try one out. I plan to get an Apple Watch when I am back in the US in June.

Pre Orders should hit close to a million units. Pushing delivery for many a month after it's release.

I've thought about pre-ordering. Really wanted to see one in a store to test out different options, though.

I don't care for the smart watches. Apple is now leasing theirs too.

I used too where analog watches but most of the time I find anymore it gets in the way. But, For me the smart watch takes technology from the point of being useful to just overboard and a distraction more than a help. I like technology but I don't think it should be everywhere or in everything.

My reason for wanting it is exactly this. I want to reduce my "technology time" and see this has having the potential to do so.

That's the hope, less distraction because you can keep your phone in your pocket and only get necessary alerts to your wrist.

Management would be handled similar to this:

There are certain people that I would buy Apple watches for if I could perform this method flawlessly.... jk

While I don't condone it,.. you'd really only have to buy one. Just re-gift it.

Just remove the battery first and let it dry.

and the FBI is now following this thread haha
