And a cookie... though are they a biscuit?

One of the very few things that either side of my family will EVER agree on is that when sitting down to an afternoon cuppa, one enjoys a biccy. Not biscuit, cookie, or baked good. Proper high tea can involve sandwiches and other little bites, but the rules are different and much more involved. It's a whole event.

Make mine earl grey, double bergamot, whole leaf - steeped 3 minutes.

One can take these things too seriously, but I am a product of my heritage. 😉

I find that a proper cup of tea is quite relaxing. While I view a proper cup far from the English version,... It's not powered, microwaved or out of some instant do-dad.

I am moving more toward less 'processed' tea options. ... I have Yerba Mate on the experiment list. But I have some block tea, and 'Gunpowder' tea -

        Proper brewing makes the difference....

Not sure what a biccy is.... Is it like an English biscuit?

@coliver Indeed, usually a digestive but one can splash out for a more fancy version. I'm particularly fond of a chocolate topped one filled with raspberry jam.

                Dinner:

                • Grill chops, seared mushrooms, broccoli and carrots.

                Bring on the coma....

Huge wind storm here. Had to bring things inside. They were going to blow away. It is crazy out there up on the mountain.

Cell phone got smashed while putting in the new floors today. It's now a curved model (it's not suppose to be). I guess I'll be going back to a brick or flip phone soon.

@thecreativeone91 I might have a 4S lurking around somewhere if you're interested. It'll need unlocking.

Narrowly avoided a nasty car accident this morning, still a bit pumped on adrenalin! Very glad I shelled out the extra for good rain capable tyres.

                                Glad you avoided it.

PS. Canadian's don't know how to spell tires.

They spell tyres just fine. Doesn't it tire you when you don't?

Currently engaged in the begining stages of a game of office telephone tag.

For those new to the sport:

                                            1. Someone initiates contact (email, SMS, ticket, voicemail etc)

                                            2. you call back (as requested) and leave voicemail

                                            3. wait for call back which will probably happen when you nip out for 5 minutes to make a cuppa.

                                            4. they leave message

                                            5. rinse and repeat
