I'm running Ubuntu Ubuntu 23.10 and looking for a player for IPTV. Everything I have tried (VLC, Jellyfin, etc.) can't handle 20K channels of IPTV...

        IPTV

I don't have any experience with IPTV,.. but a fast search did mention Kodi.. have it looked into that? I have run it on a Raspberry Pi as a media device in the car when the kids were younger to play movies.

@gjacobse That's what I am trying right now. It seems like it works reasonably well, except takes a bit of time to start up each time.

                Silly question but,…..
20,000 iptv channels? How do you find anything?
At 10sec a channel that 35min to cycle through them,… ( if my math is anywhere to being close, which it doesn’t seem to be,… I don’t math 😄 )

That's how many are available. I can select which one's I really want (USA Channels, Spanish channels, etc.)

Maybe VLC might be a good option since it plays almost al media type files.

                      It doesn't handle many channels
