      There have been tons of discussions around this concept lately so I put some thoughts into an article. The latest on the StorageCraft Blog is Slow OS, Fast Data. Generally I do not recommend splitting the OS from the array that holds data, but when it makes sense it needs to be understood how to do this correctly and where value exists in doing so.
