winget vs choco
-
It is possible that I heard of wingetprior to this last week,.. but regardless - I was shownwingetthis past week. While I have done some poking around with it I'm only just starting to comparewingettochoco. There is likely some differences between the two, what applications are or are not available. And I can see benefits to using both to manage applications that aren't on the other platform. Are there any suggestions on use, comparisons and such one might offer?

@gjacobse Choco is an interface to Nuget. Winget, I believe, is for the MS Store and managing the installed programs dialogue. So related, but not overlapping.

So related, but not overlapping. So - Likely would need to use both as some packages are available on both, but then some are only available in one or the other...

Check out WingetUI, which can manage packages for choco, scoop, and winget.
