Looking for an Active NodeBB Community

@scottalanmiller Trying to find an active community for Nodebb. Not able to post in community Nodebb I am really stuck with cookie consent, I cant find one which is compliant and works with NodeBB. Dam it is so pretty easy to get help on some dated SW like WordPress or PhpBB

@amarendra We've long been the most active NodeBB community. We were the first really large community built on the platform (when it was in alpha!) and have stayed on it ever since. So this is probably the place for you

Generally you don't use external tools with NodeBB because plugins are not generic and only something built for NodeBB will even run. So typically you'd find it from inside of NodeBB.

That's because taht cookie consent is built it. Go to this page...

And just enable it.

@scottalanmiller Thanks for the help. I am feeling courageous enough to start my own forum with NodeBB.
I have tested with cookie editor and it appears that NodeBB does not create any for a guest.I know registered users give consent but I was a little worried about guests and cookies.

I don't know. while creating posts category drop down is blank. Don't know if they have some ageing mechanism.

Well you can just turn on the feature and be extra safe. It's kind of a double check.

Odd, I've never had an issue over there before. Must just be a glitch at the moment.
If you go into a category and make a post within it, no selection dialogue is needed.

@scottalanmiller Grammarly extension was causing issues about categories dropdown being empty. But now I get the message that I do not have enough reputation. This is a great discouragement I am ready with everything on my localhost but if I can't interact with the community it's better to move to some other SW. I am basically locked out of the community twitter is also cold to #nodebb. A cool SW is not enough sense of support should also be there may be flarum it is.

Oh I never use that because it breaks everything and makes stuff so slow. So much productivity lost if I have that thing. It's awful.
