FML . Boss lady had a Coin Changer in her office for over 1 year. She gave it to me maybe a month ago. I had the coin changer working on the POS system Lab I have in the office in 45 minutes total (this was 2 weeks ago) so I did some documentation on it and passed it on to the tech i was working with.
We sent them a new cable to put on their existing Coin Changer (same POS system as my lab), 2 weeks ago, Apparently this call was passed onto me without me being on the email that passed the buck to me.
So now I'm putting out a fire on a client I've never worked with directly while taking the responsibility for this issue cause the other tech stopped responding to emails..
am I wrong to be Pissed off at this? - Maybe I'm over reacting to it. .In any scenario if you're still working for that crappy company, why haven't you worked to get let go and collect unemployment while you get a better job?
why would i want to lose my only source of income ?
I have many things riding on me bringing home a paycheck (like my son and I having a house still)So you're saying you've not seriously looked at alternatives. In how many months you've not received any offers (or none that match or beat what you're currently making)?
Sounds more like you're comfortable working for this employer and are afraid of something new, and unknown rather than actually embracing that and demanding more money for it.

Sure, but its better then being brow-beaten for resolving a paying customers issue. He's repeatedly stated the issues he has here. And unemployment would literally force him to find better working conditions.
I agree about him leaving. I also agree he's not doing enough to leave. I don't believe in abusing unemployment as a motivator. Usually it's a demotivator of anything.

and no, Every offer I get says 2-5 dollar less an hour that I'm currently making, and I can't take that big of a pay cut - like I said before - things rely on me bringing home a paycheck . -

There are many things about this guy that go by that make him a different person. At the end of the day, he's just a very successful guy in his own right. It's just part and parcel of how he's able to build his career. People always think that was a joke. Everybody thinks that's just a story. Maybe that's just what he's doing. But he's a great guy. I never want a lot of people to get to know him. In my whole life I have a few regrets to be honest. What I would say is that my life changed really quickly. But, you know, I didn't take this for granted. I never took this for granted. Jermaine greer: I love hearing about you and talking about your new autobiography. I'll see you when you're back. Eddie lachance: this one was written as a follow-up to the book, but I felt like the first draft of it was much better than what it made out to be. I remember saying to my wife, 'we are about to do it together, so let's do all this together.' And then I started crying and saying, "I am going to die for all of this." And then I realized that this is something I would love to do, that I think would be great.

Cosmic Humor... I'm certain that I am not the only one that gets to support crappy designed applications... or networks. Had a doozy yesterday.
Sixteen minutes complete outage because 'reasons'... EVERYTHING seems to be routed via the Co-Lo.... Like REALLY?? This is worse than a Token Ring! Phones, Internet, Email, AND the core business application (the EMR) went down for sixteen minutes.
Good news is that NONE of our hardware was down. It was the Co-Lo Fiber. 'A breaker trip' Still waiting for the full post mortem.
Did they find the hole in the token ring so the packets would quit falling out?

Lol - Yes,.. the ISP had some sort of upper level failure which (reportedly) affected several others businesses as well.

A 'user' is being used over a Security / Distro group for notifications. Notifications are coming across Teams - which I never see due to how it's set. So, the site outage (actually planned) we just had - was never seen... Oh - it users an E1 License as well ....
