Sounds like a fun day - which brings me to a question... do you and @Dominica have iPhones and use Facetime? Just curious if you use video chat to communicate / see the family while you are away like you are currently... I know I remember hearing you and @Minion-Queen speak if using Skype often..We do, yes. We are iPhone / iPad people in general. Each of the kids has their own iPad, I have one too and both Dominica and I have iPhones. And now I have a Mac, I believe that there is a way to Facetime from that too.

So day one is done and I must say, one of the best first days ever. This is a seriously cool place to work. Amazing people, really great corporate mission, good technology, a serious effort being taken to move on to amazing technology (a key reason why I've been brought on).... I am feeling really good about the move here. And most importantly, it is a decision that we made for the family and Change.org appreciates that and wanted me because I was doing things for my family instead of in spite of that.

Very fishy that there was math for an MIS position. Definitely MIS is not, in any way, a math related field.

It was Pre employment test for Sys Admin position. It goes fine but I was not able to complete the math exam lols .;(

Well, good luck. Sounds pretty fishy for a tech job, though. Might be a good sign that it is not really a good place to be.

Had a really amazing salmon burger tonight from Custom Burger right across the street from my hotel. So good. I am totally getting that again tomorrow night.
Gotten taken out to lunch for sushi today. It was great.

@scottalanmiller you can facetime from your laptop very easy to do (just have to connect it to your ITunes account so you can).
Skype is awesome for doing video chat we use it as a company to remember we are a team from time to time. Having everyone all over the world it's nice to see faces not just hear voices.

Yes I have 2 team members in the UK and now will have @scottalanmiller and @Dominica in Spain (and who knows where else). We also have an MSP that we partner with in Canada from time to time as well.

Working on plans to go to Scotland in July after our wedding. Going to see the ancestral homestead. Also trying to figure out if my gateway is overloaded... but Meraki doesn't really give any of those stats, this is probably the fifth time I've regretted purchasing this device.
