That's often the case. It is the non-registered traffic that causes the big spikes. On normal days we see nearly all traffic is coming from the people that you see posting. But on the days with lots of traffic we normally see it as nearly all anonymous traffic (not registered users) and generally it means that one of the secret groups at that other community has been talking about us all day and sending people here. Their moderators create a ton of traffic by watching the site and talking about it all of the time.
When they get really active looking at the site, it seems to generate a lot of traffic. I can only assume because they are making links or something.

So we just booked our flights for our relocation to Europe!! This is so exciting.
We are leaving Florida on March 21st and heading to Dublin for a day before jetting on to Madrid after having gotten a little sleep. We leave the US two months from today.

We've done Europe several times, including with the kids. No real new skills at this point. Getting the long term apartment in Andalucia, now that will be a new experience!

We noticed that this afternoon. Some people were trying to look at it and could not get it to load.
