We need to purchase a couple new domain names and while most of our domains are registered with GoDaddy, I was wondering if there is anyone better?

I use NameSilo. Not sure who we use for our company domains (outside of my sphere of influence).

I've been using Google Domains, which is probably a bad idea since it's probably going to randomly get discontinued one day...

I use GoDaddy to register, and then transfer to CloudFlare.

We've been using them for a couple decades now. Great service if something hiccups. Real peeps on the end of the phone.

That name scares me, lol. And in Canada, no less 😉

                            Why?

I've used Hover, Google and CloudFlare oh and GoDaddy in the past, but I'm done with them.

What issue do people have with GoDaddy? They've worked fine for us. And they have the broad TLD options that we often lack elsewhere.

Or are you wondering why we use CF?

Why buy at one, then move the registrar to another? or are you saying you buy at GD and just have DNS at CF?

OH! Because CF doesn't let you buy, but that's where we want the account to be.

Yes, it's weird. You can only transfer to them, not buy directly.

yes, once you transfer you are all set. Just the initial purchase doesn't work.
