Dealing with my FU of crontab -r . . . which if you didn't know just immediately erases your crontab file.

Not a huge ordeal, but still annoying as all.

That's not so bad as my friend who 'rm -rf' in /home when he thought he was in /home/user

So the guitar pedal I ordered from UK made it through customs very quickly... only to be delayed by the fact that the delivery requires a signature 😞 So the local post office is holding it hostage, and they close at 4:30, since they designed their business hours to be incompatible with everyone's schedule. I'm ready for the USPS to get absorbed by a private entity so they can achieve some minimal level of doing their job. Or they could just go away entirely. The world does not need a delivery service that employs low level, ham fisted thieves.

I've barely been able to come up for air in what seems like a month now.

@WrCombs once you have it running, the updates will appear inside the program, you can download straight from there.

@travisdh1 I did that a few months ago too... Luckily I ran a backup job minutes before. Was able to restore. I was so mad at myself. Lesson learned.

I always put in the full path when using rm -r, lesson learned the hard way.

                            --interactive=once is my favorite options.

                            rm --recursive --interactive=once /HelloWorld/

same here. i've been working with a client who narrowly missed an emotet / ryuk outbreak. been redoing all their security stuff, from passwords to backups.

I'm lazy rm -ri does the same thing.
