        Keep in mind when we reference "0" in NYC, it is -17.7778 for you (F => C).

            Some of us work in Celsius though and understood that when he said 0 he was speaking C.

                      Thanks @JaredBusch that's actually a big help, I've not put much brain power towards it, but for whatever reason I just thought NYC was like Greenland every day during winter, cold and snowy, but I guess it isn't.

                      We'll wind back the cold clothes packing from Defcon 4 to something not as severe.

                          Usually windy as @scottalanmiller said. Few times I've been in the area around the holidays temperatures were around 5 C but winds were 30-40 MPH which is what about 55-65km/h

                              Especially in lower Manhattan. The Wall St. area is crazy windy.
