Not much of a list, I'm afraid.

Azure MMC shows being dropped some time ago... unless what I read is wrong. - 
It would be interesting to hear who is using which of these tools and why.
I use 7zip, putty (part of WinSCP), Notepad++, VirtualBox and have looked into AMANDA, but found that Zamanda was bought out by Carbonite. - 
NTG uses 7zip, PuTTY, Notepad++, VirtualBox too.

@scottalanmiller , you should check out KiTTY. Built from PuTTY but way nicer!
