My boss and I were talking this morning about anything but work - redundant no?
anyway, He told me and my coworker that "Martial Arts Forms are pointless. they do nothing for you and you're standing there by yourself shadow boxing. Pointless."
:man_facepalming: It's obvious he's never actually learned/practiced anything with martial arts... How can he manage to tell me - an avid martial arts enthusiast about martial arts?

@WrCombs your boss is right, martial arts is pointless. Anthrax is a way more effective means of ending the suffering of your enemies. . .
Just use it instead of trying to destroy a single person 1 by 1.

Sure weapons will mostly win every time. I'm not bullet proof - and Im pretty sure not immune to anthrax.The goal (at least for my system) is to teach you the techniques the first form literally translates to the Little Idea Form because it's the building blocks for the whole system.
He's never done any real training or much of anything according to him.
so it makes sense that he's ignorant to the idea that they are actually beneficial. -

The monthly company meeting as at a pro go-cart track. It was fun, but a couple of us have bruised ribs this morning thanks to the "racing seats".
Also, how did those become popular as "gaming chairs"? Makes no sense to me.

Niki Lauda passed away today. Guy had a very interesting life. Idk if any of you have seen Rush, but it's a pretty good movie that is in part about him

At some point, I'll do a project where I try to rip and organize my CDs. FLAC will probably be the way I go. The project won't start until I decide how I want to purchase / consume music.

If you have the storage, WAV is obviously a better choice.
I don't always compress audio, but when I do, I use FLAC.
